The iVMUXTM provides a solid-state solution for multi-channel integrated VOA and wavelength multiplexer (VMUX). It allows for automatic channel balancing before wavelengths are multiplexed. This allows for the multiplexing of optical signals at different power levels such as those from different transmitters, line rates and protocols. This product is bidirectional and can be used as either VMUX or VDEMUX.
The iVMUXTM modules can be customized to meet different requirements
- Number of channels can be 4 to 48
- Channel spacing can be 200, 100, 50 GHz
- Position and number of power monitors can be varied (DuPont VOA arrays have high attenuation accuracy in open-loop operation, eliminating the need for feedback monitors in most applications)
- Optical connectors: MPO, LC, FC, SC, etc.
- Electrical interface: RS-232, I2C, DPRAM, SPI, USB, TCP/IP
