| This double stage EDFA uses preamplifier stage with a low noise over a large input signal dynamic range; a power booster based on a high performance double clad erbium-ytterbium doped fiber,pumped with high reliability laser diodes and a passive splitter for even power delivery to multiple output fiber ports. Optical isolators are placed at the input preamplifier stage, interstage and output of booster stage.Tap couplers and associated photodiodes provide signal monitoring at input and output ports. | |
